Website Redesign — Markham & the GTA
A Redesign,Not a Rankings Reset.
Rebuild a slow, dated, or hard-to-update site without losing the search rankings it already has — full content audit, complete redirect mapping, and a modern Next.js build you actually own.

What the Rebuild Covers
Every redesign starts with an audit, not a blank canvas — nothing that already works gets thrown away.
Content & URL Audit
Before anything is designed we inventory every page: what it says, what it ranks for, whether it earns its place. Pages that work get carried forward.
Redirect Mapping
Every old URL mapped to its new destination and 301 redirected — the step careless migrations skip, and the most common reason a redesign tanks a ranking site.
SEO Carried Forward
Titles, meta descriptions, headings, and structured data migrated deliberately rather than regenerated from scratch.
Performance Overhaul
Compressed, correctly-sized images, no render-blocking scripts, Core Web Vitals measured before and after.
Conversion Path Redesign
Most dated sites fail because it's unclear what to do next. We rebuild the path from landing to enquiry.
Post-Launch Monitoring
We watch crawl errors, index coverage, and rankings for the weeks after launch, when migration problems actually surface.
Rebuild, Refresh, or Neither?
We'll tell you which one you actually need before quoting anything.
Needs a Rebuild
Loads slowly on a phone, is difficult to update, was built on a platform you no longer have access to, or hasn't converted an enquiry in months.
Just Needs a Refresh
The structure works — the problem is dated visuals or thin copy. A refresh costs less and gets there faster.
Doesn't Need Us Yet
If neither applies, we'll say so. A quote for work you don't need isn't a service.
Why Choose Zenara Designs
Rebuilt on Next.js, Not Patched
Rebuilt on a modern framework rather than patched on top of an ageing theme — faster loads, real code you own, no plugin stack to keep updating.
Migrations That Keep Rankings
Full URL mapping, 301s, content preservation, and sitemap resubmission are standard, not extras. Rankings can wobble for a few weeks while Google re-crawls; they shouldn't fall off a cliff.
Fewer, Better Pages
Most sites we inherit are too large, not too small — dozens of near-identical pages diluting the ones that matter. Consolidating them is usually the highest-impact part of the project.
Fixed Price, Known Timeline
Quoted up front from the audit, not billed hourly against a moving scope. Most redesigns land in one to two weeks; larger builds run three to four.
Fixed Price, Known Timeline
Every migration is scoped from the audit — here's what determines it.
Website Redesign & Migration
Custom Quote
Priced from a free audit of your current site — how much content needs migrating and how much is changing structurally. Most redesigns land in 1–2 weeks; larger rebuilds run 3–4.
Frequently AskedQuestions
How do I know if I need a redesign or just a refresh?
If the site loads slowly on a phone, is difficult to update, was built on a platform you no longer have access to, or has not converted an enquiry in months, a rebuild usually costs less than repeated patching. If the structure works and the problem is dated visuals or thin copy, a refresh is enough. We will tell you which one you need before quoting — including when the answer is that you do not need us yet.
Will a redesign hurt my existing search rankings?
It can, if the migration is careless. The usual causes are broken URL structures with no redirects, lost page content, and metadata that was never carried across. We map every existing URL to its new destination, 301 anything that moves, preserve the content that already earns impressions, and re-submit the sitemap. Rankings can still move in the first few weeks while Google re-crawls; that settles.
Can you keep my existing branding?
Yes. Plenty of redesigns are structural — same logo, same colours, better structure, faster load, clearer conversion path. If the brand itself is the problem we will say so, and logo and identity work is quoted separately.
What happens to my old content?
We audit it first. Pages that earn impressions or serve a real purpose get carried across and improved; thin or duplicate pages get consolidated or retired with redirects. Cutting dead weight is often the single highest-impact part of a redesign — a smaller site of genuinely useful pages outperforms a large one of near-identical ones.
How much does a redesign cost, and how long does it take?
Quoted up front from the audit, not billed hourly against a moving scope — pricing depends on how much content needs migrating and how much is changing structurally. Most redesigns land in one to two weeks; larger rebuilds with custom functionality run three to four.
We'll audit it and tell you honestly whether it needs a rebuild, a refresh, or nothing at all — with the specific issues we found, at no cost.
